How to use "Resistor Value"

Resistor Value will calculate the resistance of a resistor based on the colors of the bands.

Step One
»
Select the color in the list boxes for each corresponding band on the resistor, color bands 1 through 4. The value of the resistor will be displayed in the "Resistor Value =" text box. The tolerance value for the resistor will be displayed in the "Tolerance = +/-" text box

Step Two (Optional)

The resistor value can be displayed in Ohms or in simplified units i.e. KOhms or MOhms. The default value is the simplified units. To change to Ohms select "Show value in Ohms" from the options menu.
